About Logotron Ltd.

Logotron Ltd, formed in Cambridge in 1984, has grown to be one of the most respected and successful publishers of creative and constructivist educational software for schools. With strong research links with MIT and Stanford Universities in the US, and Microsoft Research in Europe, Logotron has consistently been the UK's most innovative developer of educational software. In January 2001, after 11 years of ownership by Pearson plc, Logotron was bought out by its management team and is now an independent business, developing software and training products under both the Logotron and Cambridge Software Publishing brands.  Then in November 2001, Logotron merged with Widgit Software, the UK's longest running Special Educational Needs software company.

Logotron branded products include market leading applications for schools, such as: Imagine Logo the logo, multimedia and web authoring tool; Viewpoint the data-handling package; Datalogging Insight for Science; Control Insight for modelling and control; Revelation Natural Art, a configurable, tablet PC ready, 'natural' media art application; and the "Essential Tools" compilations including Logotron School Office.  Latest releases include Revelation Sight & Sound for video editing, Simulation Insight for modelling in Science, and Logotron Visual Fractions, a breakthrough in the teaching and exploration of fractional relationships.

Under the Cambridge Software Publishing brand in professional data-handling/survey/analysis markets, KeyPoint is setting new standards in ease-of-use and cost effectiveness with its intuitive interface and web & email functionality. The latest release is Cornerstone: Visual Thinking, a state-of-the-art ideas mapping program.
