Insight Laboratory
Insight Laboratory is a free-standing, interactive tutorial
guide which runs co-operatively alongside DataLogging Insight, offering
a series of Lessons and Experiments which help the student to gain
confidence in making full use of DataLogging Insight as a lab analysis
tool.

The 10 fifteen minute lessons (Interactive Tutorials) can be
used for:
- Teaching pupils basic skills for analysing data
- Enabling pupils to 'brush up' when these skills have become
'rusty'
- Helping pupils to learn useful questions on experimental data
- Giving all pupils in a class a common core of experience.
The Tutorials are designed to:
- Help students develop the advanced skills of interpreting data
- Seek scientific explanations.
They incorporate a management facility for:
- Monitoring students' performance
- Diagnosing errors
- Providing remedial advice.
Insight Laboratory gives you a step-by-step, differentiated
system for getting yourself and your pupils up to speed with all
the facilities DataLogging Insight provides for the Science classroom
and laboratory. It incorporates facilities for monitoring individual
performance, diagnosing errors and providing remedial advice.
The superb range of experimental modules, can be used to provide:
- On screen instructions/reminders for performing experiments
- Tutorials in analysis techniques
- Revision and practice
- lllustrations of suitable questions on exploring experimental
data.
Topics include:
- Evaporation and cooling
- Current and voltage
- Rate of reaction
- Pendulum motion
