Paint Templates

The Paint templates provide a varied range of ideas for the classroom from a blank sheet of paper to butterfly symmetry and shapes to cut out.

Blank Paper Draw your own picture here. You could also use this screen to set up your own template.		Cut-out Box Decorate the box (for example as a dice or letter cube), then print it out ready to cut it out and glue it together.
Butterfly Link with work on symmetry. Draw the other half of the butterfly and colour both sides the same.		Chinese Egg Puzzle Decorate the egg and print it out. Then cut out the shapes to make a bird!
Copy the Car Copy the colours in the car picture. You could then add a bird in the tree, a cat looking at the bird and a man driving the car.		Copy the Cars Colour the cars the same. Reinforce first, second, third and fourth.
Copy the Hen Make the two hens the same.		Copy the House Make the two houses the same colour. You could then add windows and a tree.
Copy the T-shirt Make the two T-shirts the same. Link with work on patterns and stripes. Investigate in Numeracy the different patterns you could make using only two or three colours.		Design your own T-shirt Children can design their own T-shirt here.

Face Link with work on symmetry. Finish the face and colour it in.		Finish the Snake Pattern Link with pattern work. Change the pattern and make your own patterns of varying difficulty.
Finish the T-shirt Pattern Link with pattern work. Challenge the children to make three different patterns using only the colours red, green and blue.		Follow the Colour Pattern What happens next? Use this drawing for writing the beginning and end of a story.
Follow the Colour Faces Pattern Link with pattern work. Change the pattern and make your own patterns of varying difficulty.		Ladybird Link with work on symmetry. Complete the other side of the ladybird and colour it in.
Cut-Out Lantern Colour in the lantern ready to cut out and make.		Cut-Out Mask Colour in the mask and print it out and make.
Maze Children practise mouse control to draw a route through the maze.		Number Order Fill in the missing numbers. Use the eraser to make a different sequence of numbers.
Numbers Draw the correct number of stars in each box. Write the word for each number in the box using the pencils.		Pizza Puzzle Make the two pizzas the same.
Seasons Draw a picture for each season. Draw a tree for each season. Draw what you wear in each season. Link with Knowledge and Understanding.		What’s for Dinner? Draw your favourite meal. Link with work on food and health.
