Logotron, the UK's leading software publisher to schools have announced the results from their "Design a New Bart Simpson" cartoon competition that was featured in association with "The Guardian Newspaper" last year.

The competition, that attracted over 200 entrants invited schools to work together in class groups during Art classes to design a cartoon character and put together a cartoon. The winning cartoon would be awarded a prize of Logotron's new "Robert Duncan Cartoon Kit" software package that enables users to take an interactive look at cartooning, and a £25 Gift voucher to spend on software published by Logotron.

The competition was held in two sections one each for Primary and Secondary. The children could choose to design a cartoon from various categories, including Holidays, School Life and Sport.
