“With Thinking Skills now having a prominent place within all areas of the curriculum– across all age groups – Thinking With Pictures is one program everyone should plan to use.”

Junior Education - Scholastic

Thinking with Pictures is rapidly becoming the must-have model mapping software for every primary classroom. It offers KS1-2 pupils clarity of understanding that can only be achieved by visual representation. The product comes with curriculum ready resources enabling teachers to quickly integrate the software into their teaching and create a stimulating classroom environment for their pupils.

It provides a framework for supporting the use of model mapping in teaching. Because it can be learner-driven as well as teacher-driven it is effective in helping pupils to construct personal meaning and underpin their learning, irrespective of their ability or learning style. Thinking with Pictures, for example, can assist in challenging areas of learning such as literacy, the development of thinking and study skills, while also supporting inclusion and Gifted & Talented pupils.

Junior Simulation Insight KS2

"Junior Simulation Insight provides a very exciting resource to extend work on Scientific Enquiry in Key Stage 2 Science that has hitherto not been adequately met."

KS2 TEEM Evaluation

Junior Simulation Insight , the eagerly awaited software that helps KS 2 pupils explore, investigate and modify models, is now available. The product comes with curriculum ready resources enabling teachers to quickly integrate the software into their teaching and create a stimulating classroom environment for their pupils.

It gives teachers and pupils access to simulations that aim to boost the scientific skills and knowledge of a new generation of learners. Teachers can feel confident that this new product will substantially develop their pupils’ thinking and reasoning skills at KS2 in ways not delivered by ‘static’ material.

Unlike most science simulation packages, which are limited to the simulations provided, Junior Simulation Insight allows pupils to explore or adapt the pre-built models provided, or create their own on-screen simulations. Pupils can explore “What if…?” scenarios so that they can develop the knowledge and skills to explain and interpret observations and measurements.

Simulation Insight KS3-4

Specifically aimed at the secondary market, is Logotron’s Simulation Insight a state-of-the-art, flexible Science simulation tool. Simulation Insight makes modelling accessible to KS3-4 science students who can now use models to explain phenomena and events. This easy-to-use package also has a wider application in subjects like geography and history, as it allows a wide range of simulations to be created and investigated. It is supplied with curriculum-focused simulations, including Terminal velocity, Global warming, Rate of reaction and Osmosis.

Revelation Sight & Sound KS1-4

“Revelation Sight & Sound looks a particularly promising newcomer, being developed particularly with UK education in mind”.

Chris Drage EC&T

Revelation Sight & Sound is an incredibly versatile tool that you can use across the whole curriculum to create video feature films, radio programmes, slideshows, rostrum camera documentaries and even as a time lapse film tool.

The carefully selected sample video clips, sounds, music and images in Revelation Sight & Sound will help your pupils develop their literacy skills using multimedia elements. Pupils can produce powerful and persuasive documentaries and video projects using nothing more than a microphone and still images produced on a simple, low cost digital camera.

Nowadays, moving image media are as much a part of literacy as traditional printed materials. Revelation Sight & Sound uses a variety of forms and genres to help pupils learn communication skills and techniques, which they will be able to use throughout their lives.
