Value of Being Interviewed as Microinfluencers

As a micro-influencer, what do you see as one of the benefits of being interviewed? (whether that's in a podcast or a written interview). One of the benefits I see of being interviewed is affirming my expertise in a specific topic and creating that focus for future elevator pitches. When I receive such positive feedback on my interviews, particularly of how insightful the information I conveyed was, it reaffirms that I am a reliable expert on that specific topic. I am then able to build upon that expertise and or narrow in on certain categories.

For instance, I have been interviewed as a 'Hamptons food expert' generally speaking. Depending upon who I pitch, I may perhaps focus on vegan restaurant menus, wellness focused restaurants, grab and go, and other angles.
